Even
to those who are not race fans, the acronym NASCAR and the
names Dale Earnhart and Richard Childress Racing are familiar.
Now, Polymerica and Hubbard & Associates have joined
them in the fast lane.
WIth
their race headquarters housed just outside of CHarlotte,
NC, Childress decided to convert an old 30,000 square foot
race shop into a race museum, figuring that the public might
want to have a look at some of the old cars and memorabilia.
The
Wolfe Design Group of Atlanta drew up the plans, and Hubbard,
who has done some speedy work for Childress before, was
called in to turn their old shop floor into an exciting
and colorful museum masterpiece.
Using
Polymerica's MasterQuartz DQS Quartz surfacer and MasterShield
IEC and LSS epoxy coatings, Hubbard's pit crew got the job
done in record time. The quality of their work placed them
on the top of the podium in Polymerica's Job of the Year
contest.
